Safezone - our campus safety app
SafeZone is a mobile safety app that helps students quickly contact the Moulton College security and support teams if they need assistance while on campus.
Using the app, students can:
- quickly request help from campus security or support staff
- share their location with the College when requesting assistance
- receive safety notifications and important alerts
- contact the appropriate support services when needed
- track the campus shuttle buses to move between sites
SafeZone helps ensure that support can be accessed quickly if a student needs help while on campus.
Students will be given information about downloading and using the SafeZone app when they start their course.
Peerscroller (for students and parents)
Peerscroller is a digital resource available to Moulton College students and parents that provides essential life skills information in short, easy-to-watch videos.
The platform covers a range of topics designed to support young people as they navigate everyday challenges, using bite-sized, TikTok-style content that is engaging and easy to understand.

Keeping your child safe online
The internet and social media play an important role in students’ lives, but it is important to understand how to stay safe online.
Parents and carers can support their child by talking about online safety and helping them understand how to use technology responsibly.
Some key online safety tips include:
- encouraging open conversations about online activity
- helping young people understand privacy settings on social media
- discussing the importance of respectful online behaviour
- knowing where to report online concerns.
If a student experiences online bullying, harassment or any behaviour that makes them feel unsafe, they should speak to a member of staff so that appropriate support can be provided.
