Fee and Cost Information
Course (Tuition) fees
The majority of our full-time courses are free if you are under the age of 19 on the 31st August of the year that your chosen full time course starts. You won’t be expected to pay any tuition, examination or registration costs. Any exceptions to this will be stated on the course details.
Additional course costs
Some courses will require additional fees/costs which may include:
- Uniform
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Trips
Full details of these are included within the Equipment List for each subject. However, if you are concerned about paying these please speak in confidence to one of our Student Services team who will be able to advise about the financial support available.
Transport fees
To help you get to College we have an extensive network of College coaches and minibuses to bring you into College.

Prices for subsequent years are subject to change.
Accommodation fees
All of our accommodation for students aged 16-18 is located at our Moulton campus and includes breakfast and an evening meal (half-board). You will need to pay an initial deposit of £250. You will then be charged an annual fee.
For students aged under 18, staying with us in 2026/27 the annual rent charges are as follows:
- £5,459 for a single room with half-board (5 nights per week)
- £7,644 for a single room with half-board (7 nights per week)
- £4,762 for a shared room with half-board (5 nights per week)
- £6,542 for a shared room with half board (7 nights per week)

Financial Assistance & Bursary Information
16-19 Bursary
If you are a Further Education student under the age of 19 on 31 August of the year your full time course starts, you can get access to financial support for essential course related costs such as transport, accommodation or course uniform/PPE. The funding is available if you are from a low income family, i.e. annual household income of £30,000 or less.
In addition, College meals are free if you are on one of a number of listed state benefits including Universal Credit.
To access this funding, you will need to apply to our Student Services team.
Vulnerable Student Bursary
If you are aged 16-18 and meet one of the categories below you are entitled to a Bursary of up to £1,200:
- in care
- care leavers
- receiving Income Support (IS), or Universal Credit (UC) because they are financially supporting themselves or financially supporting themselves and someone who is dependent on them and living with them, such as a child or partner
- receiving Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Personal Independence Payments (PIP) in addition to Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) or UC – all benefits must be received by the student, in their own right
Studley College Trust Fund
If you are studying an Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry or Arboriculture course you could be eligible for the Studley College Trust Fund.
Studley College Trust Fund provides financial support in the form of student bursaries for study and training activities in the land-based industries, to a maximum of £2,500 in any academic year.
You are eligible to be considered for an award from the Studley College Trust Fund if you study one of our following courses:
- Agriculture
- Arboriculture & Forestry
- Horticulture
By applying for the Studley College Fund you could get financial support towards course fees, accommodation costs, food, transport, books and study materials, protective clothing where this is a necessary part of the curriculum, external test/examination fees and course study trips.
This is a limited fund and applications will be considered and awarded whilst funds are remaining. You can make your application through our Student Services team who will be able to assist you.
