Every year, many adults choose Moulton College to learn skills, boost their confidence or take an exciting next step in life.
Whether you want to enhance your CV, explore a fresh direction, or simply enjoy the love of learning, you’re in the right place.
What’s the difference between part-time and short courses?
The main difference is in the duration and depth of study. Part-time courses often involve studying a standard qualification like a certificate, diploma or degree over a longer period.
Short courses are more condensed and designed to teach you specific skills quickly. They are often focused on vocational subjects and run over a shorter period or sometimes in workshops lasting a few days.
Part-time courses
Usually studied a few days a week or in evening classes and great for adult students who want to progress in their current job role or completely retrain for a new career.
Whether your goal is upskilling, a career change or personal development, our courses can help you get there.
Short courses
These are ideal for keeping your qualifications up to date, learning the basics of a new trade or continuing professional development.
We run our short courses throughout the year and some of them are online, enabling you to better balance your studies around your other work and family commitments.
It’s a small commitment in time, but one that can bring big rewards – new confidence, new skills and new opportunities.
Skills Bootcamps
These are short, intensive courses designed to get you started in a new career path. They are funded by the UK Government and available to people who are aged 19+.
