We are committed to creating a safe environment where students feel protected, respected and able to focus on their studies. Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone at Moulton College, and our staff work together to ensure students are supported and protected at all times.
Our safeguarding commitment
We take safeguarding seriously and work hard to ensure that all students feel safe while studying at Moulton College.
Our safeguarding approach includes:
- clear safeguarding policies and procedures
- compulsory safeguarding training for all staff
- enhanced DBS certification requirement for all staff
- SafeZone app providing link to support and useful information
- support for students who need advice or help
- working with external agencies when required
All staff receive safeguarding training so they understand how to identify concerns and provide appropriate support.
Our Safeguarding Team
Moulton College has a designated Safeguarding Team responsible for overseeing safeguarding across the College.
The team supports both students and staff, provides guidance when concerns are raised and ensures safeguarding procedures are followed.
If you have a safeguarding concern, you can contact a member of the safeguarding team.
Our Safeguarding & Wellbeing Team operate across the campus to support our students.
Reporting a concern
If you are worried about the safety or wellbeing of a student, it is important to report your concern as soon as possible.
You can speak to a member of staff or contact the safeguarding team directly. All concerns are treated seriously and handled in line with our safeguarding procedures.
Our priority is always to ensure that students receive the support and protection they need.
