Examinations and Assessments

Exams are an important part of many courses at Moulton College.

We aim to make the exam process as clear and supportive as possible so that students feel confident and prepared. This page provides information about exam arrangements, expectations and where to find further support.

Questions about exams

If you have questions about exams, you can speak to your tutor or contact the exams team either by email or call on 01604 491131.

Exam arrangements

Students will receive information about their exam timetable, locations and any specific requirements before their exams take place.

It is important that students:

  • check their exam timetable carefully
  • arrive at the exam room on time
  • bring any required equipment
  • follow instructions provided by staff

Clear guidance will be shared in advance to help students prepare.

Preparing for exams

Preparing for exams can help students feel more confident and perform to the best of their ability.

Students are encouraged to:

  • attend revision sessions
  • organise their study time
  • speak to tutors if they need additional support
  • make use of learning resources available

Planning ahead can help reduce stress and improve exam readiness.

Exam support and access arrangements

Some students may be eligible for additional support during exams.

This may include:

  • extra time
  • use of assistive technology
  • alternative exam arrangements

Students who think they may need exam support should speak to the Learning Support Team as early as possible.
