Schools & Partnerships

Moulton College works in partnership with schools and youth organisations across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas to support students as they prepare for their next steps.

Our School Liaison Team delivers a range of engaging activities designed to help students and NEETS explore post-16 options, understand college life and make informed decisions about their future.

We work closely with these organisations to provide flexible, tailored support that complements careers education and progression programmes.

Why work with Moulton College?

We offer schools and youth organisations a range of opportunities to support students in making confident and informed choices about their future.

Working with us provides:

  • access to specialist land-based facilities including animal, equine, agriculture and horticulture
  • engaging, practical experiences for students
  • tailored sessions to suit your school’s needs
  • support aligned with careers education programmes
  • guidance on post-16 progression pathways

How we support schools

We offer a range of activities that can be delivered in school or on campus, depending on your requirements.

All sessions are designed to be informative, interactive and relevant to students at different stages of their education.

Our Liaison Team works directly with schools and other youth organisations to provide information and advice about post-16 options.

Sessions may include:

  • assemblies and presentations
  • careers fairs
  • information sessions about college courses
  • guidance on progression pathways

These sessions help students understand their options and feel confident about their next steps.

Campus visits allow students to explore Moulton College and experience the learning environment first-hand.

During a visit, students can:

  • tour the campus
  • explore facilities
  • learn about courses and student life
  • ask questions about studying at college

Visits can be tailored to meet the needs of your students. Please note that the maximum number of students that we can accommodate at one time is 30.

We support schools to meet Gatsby Benchmarks by delivering careers education by providing engaging and informative sessions.

This may include:

  • careers talks and presentations
  • information about post-16 pathways
  • insights into different industries

Our sessions help students understand how education links to future careers.

We can provide smaller group tours of up to 12 people for students with additional learning or SEMH needs.

Working in partnership with schools

We value strong relationships with schools and work collaboratively to support students throughout their transition to college.

Our team can work with you to plan activities that align with your careers programme and support your students effectively.

I just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic day you put on for our students. It was perfect for giving them an insight into the exciting courses you offer; I for one would love to do all of them! It will help them to start shaping their plans for post 16 and I know quite a few have been inspired by courses they saw today."

I just wanted to say thank you for taking our Year 11 assembly this morning. Your clarity, enthusiasm and good humour were much appreciated! Thank you, too, for answering questions at the end. One of my Y11 boys was singing your praises."
