Yultan Mellor
Principal & Chief Executive
Yultan is a highly experienced further education leader with more than 30 years' experience across the sector. She has a strong track record in strategic leadership, curriculum development, organisational transformation and improving outcomes for learners.
She spent much of her career in Nottingham, progressing through a range of leadership roles, including ten years as Vice Principal Curriculum. During this time, she played a key role in three college mergers, helping to bring teams together and build positive organisational cultures.
Yultan later became Principal and Chief Executive of Northern College, where she led developments in response to changes in adult education policy and funding, while championing widening participation and lifelong learning.
Most recently, she served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Skills and Education Group, providing strategic leadership and organisational stability during a period of significant change.
