Our Level 2 Diploma in Uniformed Public Services is aimed at students wanting a specialist practical and vocational qualification.

You will learn a variety of skills and attributes essential for working in the public service sector and you will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations and activities.

The course is designed to give students an insight into the practicalities and realities of working within a public service organisation. The course has a range of diverse and challenging topics offering an introduction to the skills you will need when working in the public sector.

Students will learn a variety of modules including:

Teamwork and leadership
Outdoor and adventure activities/expeditions
Fitness, citizenship and diversity

Students will focus on improving their practical experience and teamwork by getting involved in activities including rock climbing, kayaking and orienteering.

In addition to this they will gain an improved understanding of the relationship between public services and the law by taking part in college visits to the Houses of Parliament, Bletchley Park and Courts of Law.
